November 2006: End-of-project conference in Kiel The Interreg IIB ICT for SMEs project was officially ended as far
as trans-national meetings are concerned on Friday the 10th of November.
The closing conference was held at the Wirtschaftakademie Schleswig -
Holstein in Kiel.

June 2006: Lead partner reorganisation and change
of roles After a restructering process the roles in ProArbeit have been
changed. Gerhard Noack who was introduced at the last meeting is now the
head of our administration department. In future he will be in charge
of the financial issues and claims, together with Mr. Leschnik from our
controlling department. If there are any questions don`t hesitate to contact
them. I`ll get the role of the local project manager for this project
and will assist Ulrich for the content related issues.

June 2006: Evaluation Scheme Accepted
Referring to our Bulletin from May 16 concerning the suggested evaluation
scheme we did not receive any objections until the end of May. As announced
we take this a a mutual agreement of the steering committee with the described
approach. We will now define the next steps with Stavanger University
and will inform all partners when further details are available.
May 2006: Conference on ICT in SMEs in Scotland Conference on ICT use for SMEs is arranged by Napier in Edinburgh
on the 11th of May.
May 2006: Steering Committee proposal on project
evaluation approach The SC Meeting in Osterholz on 30th of January agreed to accept
the offer made Stavanger University to carry out a project evaluation.
As the first step the 30 companies which have been audited during the
life time of the project shall be subject of a short survey on project
impacts (based on a questionaire). The second part is the survey of the
partner activities in each participating region. An evaluation questionaire
will be developped and applicated by an online evaluation. Based on the
results of the online interviews on the site visits by a Norwegian evaluator
will be carried out. The third part will be a qualitative survey based
on the findings of steps 1 and 2. This report will especially take into
consideration the indicator system of the project. All partners are requested
to make comments on this suggestion until the end of May 2006. This request
is especially addressed to the Steering Committee Members. Comments (and
non comments) will be regarded as a written decision of the SC and binding
for all partners. The survey itself shall be carried out mainly after
the summer holidays.
May 2006: Aviemore deadline
Programme and Invitation to the annual conference of the INTERREG North
Sea programme are available on http://www.interregnorthsea.org/.
Deadline for registration is the 19th of May.
April 2006: Intereg IIB North sea conference in
Aviemore
This year's annual INTERREG III B North Sea Conference will take place
from 14th to 16th of in June in Aviemore Scotland. Please note the date
in your calendars, and perhaps we'll meet there!
March 2006: Update on case descriptions
There is an updated template (ver 1.1) for reporting best practices. Promotion
of relevant SMES should take place on this form, and wil be published
on the web.
February 2006: Lead partner workshop on best-practice
There wil be a workshop held in Germany between ProArbeit and RKK on the
best-practice and web strategies.
February 2006: Request for case descriptions
As part of the build-up of a best practice portfolio, we ask all interessted
to submit their proposals for best-practice case descriptions. There is
developed a template for reporting on this available on our internal platform.

The next steering group meeting is to be held in Osterholz, Germany on
the 30th of January 2006.
December 2005 - Best Practice Conference in Dalane,
Norway 1-2
December the Dalane region held a conference. The Mayor of Egersund introduced
the region to the 35 participants from six different countries. The conference
was lead by Gaute Fardal of the Dalane council economic development agency.

Belgium
There was a Steering Group Meeting held 19-21 September 2005 in Brugge,
Belgium. Exchange of experience, the survey and PR-plans are discussed.

There was a Steering Group Meeting held 7-8 July 2005 in Osterholz, Germany.
Budget and spending targets, PR and the best practice conference later
this year was dicussed.
April 2005 - Steering group meeting in Sønderborg,
Denmark
There was a Steering Group Meeting held 25-27 April 2005 in Sønderborg,
Denmark. Presentation of the work on the survey and trannational added
value were discussed.
January 2005 - Re-organisation with lead partner
We wish dr. Holger Stutzke of ProArbeit all the best in his new position
as responsible for the ICT for SMEs operations in Osterholz. Responsible
for reporting to LP is the EU department, and contact person for all requests

December 2004 - Steering group meeting in Groningen,
the Netherlands
There was a Steering Group Meeting held 1-3 December 2004 in Groningen,
the Netherlands.
Among other issues, the PR-status and the project progress plan were discussed
in particular, following two parallell seminars on the topics. Best practice
conference to be held in Norway was announced.
June 2004 - Steering
group meeting in Arvika, Sweden
The
Swedish partners welcomes the Steering committee to the meeting in Arvika
from 27 - 29 of June 2004.
Here is Gaute Fardal from the Dalane Council while stating some remarks
on the projects next step. The Dalane Council represent rural SMEs from
the Dalane district of Rogaland, Norway. The discussion during the meeting
showed that the development of the survey form and initial pilot interviews
are on track according to the project schedule.
Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany 7 - 10 January 2004:
Steering Commitee meeting The
German partners welcomes the Steering committee to the meeting in Osterholz-Scharmbeck
from 7 - 10 January 2004. The meeting has been moved from Groningen, The
Netherlands, as previously announced due to the accomodation situation.
Partnership agreement, the survey team and progress status in each region
was on the agenda.

kick-off-meeting was hosted by Rogaland Training and Education Centre
